Derive references within the same hub -- nothing changed but can't insert

Nothing changed at all (just had an issue where F360 said it was working in offline mode due to maintenance) but now I can't insert via derive into my designs any more -- everything is in the same folder and I'm going through the same process as I had been all day... Any suggestions?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Is your computer connected to the internet? Could you try switching to online mode to see if that helps?

If that doesn't help, could you attach a screenshot of what you are seeing?

I was able to sidestep the issue with right-selecting a new design with only the element I'm trying to insert and clicking "insert into design", but the general issue isn't fixed. Screenshots below

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for the screenshot! Which design did you try to insert? Is that design saved within "My First Project"?

Would you mind attaching the diagnostic log files?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for attaching the diagnostic log files! I'll take a look at it and post an update as soon as I have one.

In the meantime, would you mind trying the items below to see if you can work around the issue?

  • Use "Save as" command to create a new design, and try inserting Derive using the newly saved design

  • Use Export command to save the file locally, and upload it to your project. Then, insert Derive using the uploaded file

I already found a workaround using the insert a design feature from the browser, thank you!
