Create separate sketch at offset from another.

I am trying to create a sketch at an offset from another one. I have created a sketch, then offset it say 2 mm inside. The offset appears to be part of the original sketch and I want to turn the offset into a separate sketch to work with. Is this possible. I tried various methods to no avail and an internet search doesn't appear to cover that part of offsetting.

Start a new sketch.

Project and Offset.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Hi,

1. create a new sketch (2)

2. project  (p or Create > project) the contour of Sketch 1 into

3. Create offset of projected contour
