converting mesh with too many triangles into a body

I have tried to convert this mesh into a body but Fusion 360 is telling me that there are too many triangles to convert my mesh. Any help?

The answer to this will depend on your intended use of the model. What is it you intend on doing with this ?

I am trying to modify the arm, but I cannot do that when it is in a STL.
