Construction line and the "Color sketch based on constraint status"

I normally use the "Color sketch geometry based on constraint status" preview option.

This worked fine until the latest updates and was showing construction lines as interrupted brown lines.

After the last 2 updates or so, if the "Color sketch geometry based on constraint status" is turned off, the fully constrained construction lines appear as continuous brown lines instead of interrupted lines.

The problem is that if the "Color sketch geometry based on constraint status" is turned on and the construction lines are fully constrained, they appear as regular lines (black continuous lines) and there is no way of telling them apart from the normal lines.

Please fix this so that construction lines appear differently than normal lines when the "Color sketch geometry based on constraint status" preview option is enabled. I preferred construction lines as interrupted lines with another color but any other way of making them different from normal lines would suffice.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! I had a look at this today and was unable to recreate the behavior you described.

For me, with sketch coloring off, fully constrained construction lines appeared as brown/orange dotted lines and fully constrained normal lines showed in blue. This follows the purpose of disabling the preview function - all sketch entities are shown in their default colors. This is shown below - the sketch is fully constrained.Screen Shot 2017-05-19 at 10.21.25 AM.png

When I turned on sketch coloring, the fully defined construction lines appeared as black dashed lines, as in the screenshot below:Screen Shot 2017-05-19 at 10.24.11 AM.png

If this differs from the your experience, this could be an issue with your graphics drivers. Are you certain that your graphics drivers are fully up to date? Does the issue occur if you limit your graphical effects for performance?

Hopefully this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
