Clicking workspace switcher doesn't close dropdown menu

Bug 1:

If I click this button it shows the dropdown menu displaying each workspace:

For the first few years, at least 99% of the time: If the dropdown menu is already open and I click that button again the dropdown menu disappears. So I'm assuming that's the expected behavior.

However for the past year or two: More often than not it does in fact close the dropdown menu but the menu instantly reappears:

Bug 2:

I remember a year or two ago there was a bug where clicking that button would display the dropdown menu but only momentarily. It would be impossible to actually change the workspace. The button could be clicked 50 times in a row but the menu wouldn't stick. This was "fixed" [I put fixed in quotes because that still happens it's just not as often or as bad] like a year or two ago.

Bug 3:

Also: If I click too fast nothing happens. No visual feedback the button was pressed, no dropdown menu, nothing.

Thanks for reporting this. Can you please describe your intent in this workflow? I ask because the workspace switcher is designed to be used. This workflow seems to not use the switcher, but rather just open and close it. Am I missing something important about opening/closing the workspace switcher? From your report, there seems to be more to the workflow but I'm not sure what that would be.

It's a bug. Sometimes it's easier to just click in the same spot when I change my mind about switching to a different workspace.

Logged as a bug, FUS-193510.

Included are notes about how this impacts your experience using Fusion as a professional. We'll try to reproduce the effect in debugging tools, and see if it can be improved.  Please try the other ways to close the menu, such as: pressing esc, right clicking instead of left clicking, clicking in the model canvas or on a toolbar command.
