Canvas rendering broken by recent update

Hello hive mind!

A recent update appears to have broken the rendering in Fusion with regards to canvases. I render locally as I am on the hobbyist version.

Previously my renders with a canvas came out nicely, as is seen in this example from an in canvas render on July 7th, 2024:

Today (July 20th, 2024) the renders are coming out with the canvas severely washed out. This render was done with the in canvas option:

And this render was done with the Render dialog:

My settings haven't changed, so there was something updated in Fusion, or related to how Fusion renders.

My first thought was that this was related to an old issue with rendering when using a ground plane, but my ground plane has been turned off.

Any ideas on what to check to resolve this?

I found a workaround, so posting it here for anyone else experiencing these issues.

- Create a sketch on same plane as canvas
- Create a rectangle the same size as your canvas, fix in place
- Extrude a solid
- Add a decal with same image as canvas

This can now be used for rendering in place of the canvas. Not perfect (no calibrate option), but good enough for me to use at least.

The results:
