Can you add joint origins in an assembly?

Can you add joint origins in an assembly or do they need to be put in at the component level?

I thought you used to be able to..

Thanks

Assuming you mean:

  1. an assembly of external components
  2. the explicit Joint Origin command

then, the answer is "no" - you cannot add these at the assembly level - they have to be in the component's design.  At the moment, Joint Origins cannot even be added during Edit in Place, although I expect that to be added at some point.

Great, thank you. Looking forward to the edit in place.
