Can not make a solid from a sketch

I am new to fusion 360.  I am following the tutorials on how to get started from fusion 360 help.  For some reason once I have made a sketch, I can pull or extrude the sketch but it seems to  be transparent not like a solid even after having stopped sketch.  Cam doesn't want to process a transparent object from modeling.

Please post your file so others can troubleshoot it for you.  With the file open, select File, Export and save it to your local drive.  Then attach it to your post.  When you ask a question about your file it always should be attached to your question because the reviewers cannot tell what you have done.  I cannot replicate your issue just from your description.

Hi,

1. SURFACE > CREATE > Thicken

2. Maybe : share your file

File > export > save as f3d locally  > attach it to the next post.

If you desire it to be completely solid, take a look at the Screencast.  You need to use the Solid Environment not Surface.
