Bugs and problems

List of bugs that need to be addressed.

In the CAM workspace, when using a manufacturing model, the tool bar changes and doesn't use the normal layout or icons to how it's been used in the model workspace.

In the CAM workspace, using ctrl+v to copy and paste tool data now has some random popup window that changes settings and doesn't allow copy and paste.

In the CAM workspace if the first setup has round stock and then in the second setup "stock from previous operation" and "continue from previous operations" is used, All 2D toolpaths ignore that it has round stock, and use a square as a default shape when using "Stock contours" in the geometry tab.

In any workspace, when using "Grey Room" environment, or most other environments - the colour scheme for un-driven dimensions is horrendous.

In the CAM workspace, selecting a sketch to drive a toolpath doesn't always highlight the selected line to indicate it's been selected.

In the CAM workspace, often the stock contours profile and contour profile is overlapped. There is no way to toggle either profile on or off to be able to actually see what's selected.

In the CAM workspace, setting defaults can only be done on fields that require a written entry. It's not possible to set something with a checkbox to always default checked or un-checked.

The notification for no internet connection needs a way of silencing the warning. In areas of poor or passing internet connection this constant warning popping up completely crashes system and if it doesn't crash it stops work by having to dismiss it each and every time.

In the CAM or modelling workspace when an error pops up from trying to use a chamfer or radius with to large or small of a value, this window needs to be permanently disabled or at the least needs to be moved away from the open working dialogue box - clicking on it and waiting for the enlarged error text box to open to then dismiss it is painfully annoying.

I'll address a few of these right off;
1) The Toolbars in MFG Models are intended to be a simplified version of the Design space, utilizing the more common commands. I believe the icons themselves are the same. Can you provide screenshots where they are different?
2) 2D Toolpaths have NEVER recognized anything other than square stock. If you need to have it consider a round or otherwise non-square profile, you need to create a sketch as such

3) RE Defaults; this is false. Create a toolpath. Right click on the toolpath and select Compare and Edit. Change behavior of every single item that you wish and right click on each item and select "Save as User Default"

4) Yep, profiles can overlap between Contour and Stock. Curious to see your use case, as I've never really wrestled with that working.

Hi Seth,

1) See attached.

2) Correct, but my understanding was that this had been addressed when the work flow included the ability to continue the stock through each setup. It would be better to completely remove round stock as an option and to create stock as a separate body and use this as stock.

3)Ahh... that's cool - I wasn't aware of this. Thankyou!

4)Really? Having multiple lines selected for a contour and then trying to select a stock contour is very difficult when there are multiple lines close together, not to mention that they stay enlarged once selected. There is no way to toggle or hide visibility of the profiles. You don't actually know what's selected.
