Yet another "CB_URF - We're unable to synchronize your projects" problem

Hello, I am also having what seems to be a rather common issue "CB_URF - We're unable to synchronize your projects" and "500 - HTTP error CB_RNJ is not a JSON" after being asked to move to Teams.

Please bear with me, I will explain a lot because it will help.

I have done my due diligence with repair and reset utilities, reinstalling; contacting support, sending screenshots; reading reddit and similar posts in this forum -- I have not been able to solve it.  Support tickets concluded and "lead me to the forum" , Where I have seem very similar cases to mine but no actual solutions, I just hope that my case can get picked up by someone who can help.
The reddit user in the link I provided above indicated that:

"wrote on the Autodesk Forum and a community manager helped me out.

The problem was that I had previously signed up for some sort of trial back when TinkerCAD was new and that left my account in an inconsistent state. They had to somehow sort my account out to give me read access, then (separately, and a day later) grant me write access to everything again."

I suspect that my issue is similar. I have been using Fusion and other Autodesk products (like Tinkercad) for a long time before they were all condensed into a SSO.  Can a community manager help me out like they did with other users? @robert.filiks   Huge thanks beforehand.

Note: I am actually writing this from a second account because my original one cannot even use the forum, when logged into my original account, the forum refreshes every second or two. I cannot even write this post asking for help with my original account.

In my original account, I cannot see years of projects, I am the only user and only Team member, so I'm also the admin, but somehow it tells me that I don't have permissions. My original Case No. is 23405757 . Feel free to contact me directly for details or credentials for the original account that needs help - I repeat, it's not THIS account that is posting that needs the help.

Thank you, Rajat. I've replied via email and I'll try in a private message later, because it didn't like a link and now it tells me I've reached the max number of private messages sent.

Hello, yes I can finally confirm that the issue has been resolved.  I can now see all my previous projects and open them.
If possible, could you please share in this thread what the problem was and how it was solved, so that there is a published record of the issue and its solution for other people who may encounter this in the future?
Thank you again.

Hi @miniworld3dminiatures ,
The problem you faced is quite rare and not many users will face it .
Root cause : There was an internal technical issue with your account verification in our backend systems . You would not have faced this as this was not user impacting . This caused a conflict when you did youe Migration process . Our development team fixed it for your account and hence your issue was resolved . For other people facing similar issues , We will to fix it on a case by case basis , there is no general solution for this .
Thanks,
Rajat

Understood,  I suspected that something like this was going on. I agree that the issue may be rare. Reader, if this is happening to you, contact a human at Autodesk to get specific help. Cheers, all.

Hi @rajat_mehtaL58QJ
I believe that I have a similar issue and would appreciate it if you could take a look!

I get the same errors and am no longer able to access shared hubs.

500 - HTTP error CB_RNJ -Response is not a JSON
CB_URF - We're unable to synchronize your projects.

I learned recently that some of the SSO issues I have may have their origin in signing in/ linking accounts to the defunct Google Plus (Google+).  Clearly there were some issues behind the scenes with reconciling my gmail address as a single Autodesk account, it was possibly interpreting it as two separate accounts although they shared the same gmail address: one signing in through Google+ and the other by email.

Thanks for the tip @miniworld3dminiatures !

I think in my case there has to be a different root cause, as it's an account I started just this year with a non gmail address.

@rajat_mehtaL58QJ  While the main issue has been solved (thank you), I am experiencing strange behavior that I'm sure is related. They are not prohibitive for using Fusion, but sometimes they cause Fusion to crash, or I must quit and reopen to reset. I'll explain them below:

  1. I am only member of 2 Teams/Hubs: My own and a Friend's.
  2. When first opening Fusion, all is ok. I can access my own Team (default).
  3. After some time, I cannot pin down why or how long, I am kicked out of my Team and switched to my friend's Hub. Sometimes it's after saving the file, or after closing it. If trying to switch back to my own Team, I get the error "CB_NA - Current folder object is expired". Sometimes, it even shows the error as " ??? " . I am unable to see my own Team because it immediately switches back to the friend's hub. Only way to fix this is to quit Fusion, or after it crashes trying to switch.
  4. Possibly related, when trying to join the forum, after entering credentials to log in, I am sent to the main forum site "https://forums.autodesk.com/" and cannot log in.  When done in an incognito tab, it showed "expired page".

As you can see, these seem to be hub/team credentials and SSO issues, as was the original problem. Hope these insights help find the overlying issue for all users.
