WHY this DWG file not uploading and causing TranslationFailureReport to 'hang'?

TWO issues, related to one DWG file.

I am attempting to create the design needed to use CNC routing to prepare a slab of wood for an inlay (removal of material from slab AND cutting our the inlay material). I am working from a company logo, and the original graphic designer sent me a DWG- which is what they are able to export for Autocad.

The DWG file the designer supplied will not upload in Fusion 360 but CAN be opened in Autodesk Viewer.

Issue 1)

It won't upload even though it can be opened by other Autodesk software - the Autocad stuff CAN read it (see included pic), but somehow Fusion's version of the same stuff can't read it. WHY?

Issue 2)

The "Translation Failure Report" 'crashes' or 'hangs' each time the upload fails. It gets to a certain point and just stops making any progress, even after leaving it for a half hour or more. (See included pic) WHY?

I just don't understand what the heck is wrong here - the DWG is fine, it WORKS.

But Fusion hates it and apparently Fusion can't even tell me why it hates it...

Please advise. I'd like to get to work on this project and need those darn lines in the DWG file.

This AutoCAD drawing had some "regional" issues which I corrected by opening it up in AutoCAD first.  Then it opens in Fusion 360 just fine.  I cannot explain why your translation error report did not develop but you would be very disappointed if it did, it said only one word, "Error".

I have attached the corrected AutoCAD drawing and a Fusion 360 file once it was imported for you.

Thank you very much for bringing them into Autocad and posting the files here.

I will use them and they will allow me to move forward with the project.

However, I will leave the question 'unanswered' for the time being in hopes that one of the gurus in the forum can explain the 'why' of it.

Again, thank you - but I remain baffled by why this situation exists!
