Hi,

When I draw some rectangles that happen to enclose an area, fusion is coloring that area blue. Why?

Thanks,

Gert

It's to show that those regions are fully enclosed and you can apply extrudes, lofts, etc to them. It's a good thing. The real trauma is when you think you've made an enclosed shape and it doesn't turn blue. Then you're left trying to find the break in it 😉

Display Profiles - In the edit sketch panel, there is a tick box to turn all of them off, if it annoys you.

Might help…..

@drgert1

The blue lines should keep you awake at night, not the blue closed profile shading.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Hello All,

Thanks for the explanation.

It was a simple bracket and it came correctly out of the 3D printer.

I didn't realize that the software has that desire to create closed surfaces, but OK  I don’t have a problem with that.

Thanks,

Gert
