why do i have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling

this is the third time I have had to install fusion 360 now I cant uninstall it and re install. I did every thing that is asked me to do when I subscribed to the free version but I never got a e mail confirming that I was enrolled in the free version. how do I fix this and what do I need to do.

Welcome to the Fusion 360 community and thank you for posting!

 

Could you clarify what the issue is? Why are you trying to uninstall? To uninstall Fusion 360, please follow the steps described in this article. If you are unable to uninstall through the control panel, please go ahead and start deleting files/folders manually.

 

To activate a free license, please follow the steps in this article if you haven't done so yet. This should allow you to have a free license.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Thank you for your response! We don't send a confirmation email when a free license is activated. Instead, you can check your license status in the About page that can be found in the top right corner.

You can also check the status in the Management tab of this page: https://manage.autodesk.com

I have used the internal tool to check your account and it seems like you already have a free license. Hopefully this information helps!
