Version control does not work for my students

Hi

Version control works well for me, but not for my students nor my private account that I just shared the product license to and tested on my own computer.  (so tested with exactly same version of fusion)
The issue is:
For me:   When save, the question comes up to name the version. Versions are seen in data panel. My files show version number.
For students: Does not get the question to name versions. The versions are not visible in data panel. The versions is visble if open History.

if looking at Preferences then I have "Automatic version on save", the students have "Automatic save on close"

How can I get the students to get the version control to work?

Hi,
Could you confirm if you work on the same build of Fusion? 
To check it please click Help -> About and see the version of Fusion.
Please also check if you are working in the same Hub.

• If a user is connected to a Collaborative Hub, the preference will likely show “Automatic Version on Close” (because versions are optional).
• If they’re on a Legacy Hub, the preference may show “Automatic Save on Close” (because saving and versioning were tied together).

To check if Hub is Collaborative please open the Hub in web browser and you will see the icon on the right-side of Hub's name.
