Vanishing Construction Lines

Not a big issue here but I am finding that overlapping Construction Lines cancel each other out, visually at least... They still interact and are useable but you canot see them regardless of whether you are zoomed in or not.

I have attached 2x screenshots that show them as effectively turned off visually and another where if I hover over them and/or hold left mouse button over them that they are still there and useable.

That is strange and i don't see it on my end. They always show, even exact duplicates. Are you on Windows or Mac?

Side note - I'm not sure what two constructions lines that overlap like that would be for. Especially if they are duplicates.

I'm on windows and running the latest Fusion given it updates automatically. The overlapping lines came from different sized rectangles (not that this should matter) and there were constraints involved as the secondary rectangle was coincident to the first on a few sides...

So i'm not seeing it in either Windows or macOS:

Windows 10

Windows 10Windows 10

macOSScreen Shot 2020-01-09 at 6.11.09 AM.png

In both cases the overlapping lines visibly show and are different (closer together dashes)

@ryan.bales , mine weren't always disappearing but seems to occur dependant on zoom at times? I am pretty sure that this wasn't happening before the new lines types/sizes update came out (only recently) but am not positive. I'm on Windows 10 and everything is up to date but can't say anything abut macOS either of course.

As I said it isn't anything that is impacting functionality of using the lines in any manner so I'm not that concerned really but doesn't look polished is all... I'll keep an eye on this over time and if it persists might try something else or I'll get back to you with some updates if I can get someone to replicate it...

Cheers!

Hi, sometimes I'm facing the same issue. Not only with construction lines. It's definitely somehow dependant on a zoom level. As if I zoom in/out the line dissapear or is visible again but there is no rule for that. I'm as well updated with system/fusion360. So looking forward for some solution 🙂

Hey, so it's not just me then 😊... Mine was typically dependant on zoom level but I found that at times this happened to be at the optimal zoom resolution that I happened to be working on a lot so was a bit annoying to "not" look at I guess...haha

Either way as I said previously it doesn't impact funtionality as everything is still there but doesn't look good is all.
