User parameter expressions not copied properly when a component is pasted into another design

I have created user parameters that are expressions of other user parameters. If dimensions of a component are defined using expressions, the expressions get mangled when the component is copied and pasted (Paste New) into another design. That happens if I either

a) use a parameter expression directly in a component dimension (in the attached example: Length of the box = Par1 + Par2) or

b) use a user parameter which is defined as an expression (Height of the box = Aux1, where Aux1 = Par1 + Par2).

You supply model has no driving parametric sketches so it will not work as you desire.  In the Screencast you will see have have applied parameters and expression parameters in my model and it will easily Copy and Paste/New to any new file and function as desired.  Model is attached that I used in the Screencast.

Thanks for your prompt reply and the example. I made some further testing, and it appears that the problem is only related to expressions where I refer to two parameters (e.g. Par1 + Par2). I get similar results whether I use the box component as in my first example or a sketch and extrude as in the attached new example. Actually I would like to use this functionality in the dimensions of coils.

yes, this appears to be a bug.  The problem here is equations that refer to user parameters.  The requirements are different for Paste New in the same design (want to keep the reference to the user parameter as-is) and Paste New in a different design (want to bring along the user parameter with a new name).  I will create a bug on this.
