Fusion mass-overwrites supply symbols and connects them all together after updating from the local library.
In the past (several months ago), this issue never happened after a library update. But recent Fusion updates have made this an issue now.
When I update the library from which these symbols originate, it connects all supply net symbols together silently. This is unfortunate, because you'd think Fusion would understand the uniqueness of each supply net name and not try to connect them together (as it used to do in the past).
In the past, I used to put down the same supply symbol and simply change the value (which sets the net name of the net it is connected to). A supply pin is purely symbolic, and represents a clear way to label a net. Why is it now treated as some kind of universal net name dictated by the source library? The supply symbol naming should be project-specific, not globally named for all projects. The source library should not overwrite the name or value of these symbols, nor the nets they are attached to.
Steps leading up to this issue:
1. I saved an electronics design as a new set of project files in a new folder.
2. I then added a few new footprints and symbols to my local component library.
3. Then I updated the new electronics design from the library to get the latest version of everything.
4. Fusion updates the library components, and silently overwrites all of the supply nets together.
