Your log file has lots of errors for failing to extract files as the files do not exist.
I would try downloading the installer and running as administrator. Make sure you have enough free space on the drive your operating system is installed and the drive the program is being installed to (if they are different drives).
Run a full drive scan using the drive manufacture's diagnostic software if the update continues to fail to make sure your storage drive isn't failing.
