Have all of you tried restarting your computer? Also, what happens if you click OK on that dialog, and/or try again?

Repeatedly

It appears again

Close the application is possible only by removing the task in Task Manager

I have same error and fixit by turn off automatic time correct->manually synchronized time -> turned on automatic time synchronization again. Surprisingly, a couple of seconds of discrepancy lead to such an error.

Try this https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Inc... help page.

The problem is solved!
My system (Win10 LTSC) did not synchronize time with the time.windows.com server (I tried to do this several times before) and did NOT display a synchronization error. The time was successfully synchronized only with the timeserver.ru and time.nist.gov servers, after which the authorization error disappeared.
@Phil.E , I think this should be included in troubleshooting, since the synchronization error cannot be seen in the usual time settings window.

It can only be displayed in this window:

P.S. I'm sorry for my bad english

P.P.S. Паша спасибо;)

@Anonymous  Thanks for finding the solution and posting it!

@Anonymous Good suggestion. We can update the article. I was also thinking the error message could be improved to help customers get a solution faster.

Are there any other known issues that cause this problem?  I have a student who is blocked from doing her Fusion Design Academy assignments because she's been unable to login for two weeks now.  (It had been working previously)  She assures me that she's tried:

1) Reboot

2) Making sure she can login to the website

3) Reinstalling the application

4) Synchronizing the clock

If someone from tech support needs it, I can provide her email address.  We appreciate any assistance.  I'm at my wits end getting her back on track, and it's nearly impossible for me to remotely diagnose and fix the problem.

Kind regards,

@larry.brackney

Just to be clear, the student has:

1. Received the same exact error message as shown in this post.

2. The student has restarted the computer

3. The re-installation was done using the automatic clean uninstall tool (or manual clean uninstall steps).

Try uninstalling Fusion 360 and then use the "Fusion 360 Cleaner" again.

Change the time synchronization server, and make sure there is no synchronization error.
... for now, I have no more options

In order to make sure that the time synchronization was successful, you can do the following:
1. Turn off automatic synchronization.
2. Manually change the system time to obviously wrong.
3. Enable automatic synchronization back.
4. Wait about 5-10 minutes (usually about 1 minute)
In case of successful completion of synchronization, the time should return to the correct value (obviously;))

Good evening all,

I recently experienced the exact same issue...tried all of the above, did not work. In the end, I resolved this by reducing my browser security for the autodesk server. I use duckduckgo exclusively these days, and did not consider its security until now. Clicking the shield icon in the browser bar in disabling protections for this site specifically allowed the login process to proceed.

I know this won't apply to all, but if any can be spared the frustration of dealing with this error, it's worth sharing.
