Unable to get education license for Fusion 360

Hi,

I registered for educational access at the beginning of February (selecting School IT Administrator as my role - I'm an IT Technician), clicked 'Get License', downloaded Fusion 360 and used it for 30 days until it expired. I then went back to https://www.autodesk.com/education/edu-software/overview?sorting=featured&filters=individual where it tells me that my "educational access to Autodesk products is valid through February 2, 2024". I clicked 'Get License' again, re-downloaded the software and installed/updated it on my PC but it still said expired. I've also tried the same process on a different PC but that made no difference.

I contacted support via chat who opened a case and said I would receive support via email. But that was a week ago and I still haven't received anything (other than a confirmation email - I've checked junk mail etc). I'm not sure what the expected response time is, so I apologise if I'm being impatient, but I'm eager to continue my project 🙂 Is anybody able to help me please? My case number is 20236860.

The software version I'm using is: Fusion 360 2.0.15291 x86_64

Thanks,

Dan

Does it show your avatar and name in upper right corner of screen?

What happens if you Log Out of Fusion and then Log In again (be sure to use same username/password that you used to get the license).

What does is show at http://manage.autodesk.com

Click on your avatar and Sign Out.

Now click on it again and Sign In. (be sure to use correct username and password for student license)

What do you observe?

I was expecting an image something like this...

In your image it doesn't look like you clicked on All Products to find Fusion license?

I’m not at my computer a moment, but I’ve tried signing out and back in several times over the last week and unfortunately nothing changes. I’ve also tried signing into the software on 4 PCs (2 of which I’ve never used before).

Here is the page you wanted to see:

According to this post here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-educators/unable-to-obtain-renew-education-license/m-p/115... It's because I selected School IT Administrator as my role. Apparently that needs to be changed to Educator. Is this something you are able to change for me please?

No, I cannot change anything.

We are users, just like you.  Not Autodesk.
