Unable to complete education license registration

Hello

I have been unable to complete my education license process.  I got the link sent to my college e-mail and completed the verification and account setup .  When I go back to fusion 360 site and login in under student I get this error when I click on step 2 Register.  I did download the 30 day trail to get started in hopes it would work after a few days, but has not and continues to give me this message.

Hi @jason.hall2,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

To be honest - I'm not too sure what might be happening, but I'll take a look in the backend.

Just to check - are you able to sign up as a student within Fusion 360 as opposed to the EDU website? If you click the trial countdown timer within Fusion, are you able to successfully sign up as a student from there?

Thanks,

Hi @jason.hall2,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that we are still working on this. Haven't been able to narrow down just yet why this might be happening. Just to check - are you about to run out of trial days? If so, please let me know and we can add days until we get this resolved.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Are you able to sign up as a student via the education website here? If not, let me know and we can add trial days while we troubleshoot this issue.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you try again today and let me know if it gets stuck again? We believe we found an issue last week and have since resolved it.

If it still fails, please PM me your email address (and that of a few others that fail) so that I can investigate.

Thanks,

Hi there,

I have the same issue. I cannot get my educator licence. I get the same screen as posted previously by someone else and I have been waiting for days now. Still, I cannot use Fusion 360. It says I am registered but for some reason I cannot run the software - it just says: "Expired: Buy Now."

Can you help, please?

Best, K.

In the class, Some students couldn't register to an education license.

They faced an error message again and again on the screen.

A few month ago, someone started to use a trial version at first. And later switching to an educational one was possible. I have no idea why students in high-school can't get it.

Could you give me a solution?

Hi,

I still cannot get my education license. It still says: Term Expired.

I was promoting AutoDesk to my students because of the fantastic educational deal that you are having.

Now, I have to move to Solid Works, unfortunately. Sorry, guys, it was nice using Fusion 360, but all good things come to an end at some point I suppose.

Can you please send me all my designs that are sitting on your cloud server and which I am not being able to download. Thanks.

Best, K.

Hi ClayKim,

Unfortunately, I can't help. I am in the same situation as you and can't get my AutoDesk license.

It seems that there is no one anymore to respond to our problems.

Time to leave ...?

Best, K.

Same issue here. Been using Fusion 360 to teach parametric & freeform modeling, 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC machining, and CNC plasma cutting for the past three years. This term I have quite a few students who are running into this error, something around 20% of my class of 180. I also can't renew my free instructional license which I'd been told several times would be no problem.

Serious issue.

The issue is indeed serious!

I still can't use Fusion 360.

I was promoting AutoDesk and Fusion 360 to my students! Praising it as the best there is.

Unfortunately, I cannot do this any more and need to move now to SolidWorks.

Bye, bye to AutoDesk.

Same problem here, I have about half my students who are able to login online and it says they have an education account, but inside the program it says there is a problem like the screenshots above.  I also am going to have to move platforms with hundreds of students if this does not get resolved.

Nothing new from my side. I still have the same issue.

I can't log in.

It's also strange to see the the AutoDesk guys seem not to care. I have asked for a phone call from them a few times, but so far no one has contacted me.

Very sad. But I suppose, one has to move on.

Hi @Anonymous

Really sorry to hear you and others are having this issue! By chance have you checked out this help article: https://autode.sk/2DkezeS ? There are some customers coming across issues with downloading and installing their educational licenses and the steps outlined may help. Please let us know! @James.Youmatz is there possibly anything that is going on you can maybe lend a hand with?

Hi Diana,

Nope it does not work.

I really have to do something else now and cannot continue trying to install something that just does not work.

I am sorry, I cannot continue recommending Fusion 360 to my students.

Bye.
