Turn off preview during extrusion selection

I do some pretty complex svg based engraving using Fusion360 and selecting the volumes is a quasi-maddening process. It really bogs down. I generally have many little areas and find if I select those first, then any larger areas, that goes best.

That said, navigating around is just brutally slow, even with a dedicated Nvidia Quadro, i7, 32G ram. I wish Fusion would just kind of ignore what I'm doing until I click OK vs. trying to constantly render and autodetect what I want.

Is this possible (SolidWorks has a preview checkbox you can turn off, for example)?

If there are any other tips with complex geometry, I'd appreciate it. It can handle it, eventually, it's just super laggy when selecting things for extruding.

I don't think there is a function to turn off the preview. I'm suggesting you to present this as a idea in our idea section.

Hi,

Please share your design so that we can take a look at it.
A Quadro card is Open GL optimized, but Fusion loves Direct X.

What is your goal? Engraving or contour cutting?
For both you don't need an extrusion in the design area but use the sketch in the manufacture environment.
