Been trying to load an STL that was made on Inventor into Fusion. Opens about halfway then stalls.

Hi @alan.zube ,

I cant see this problem while uploading the stl file to the datapanel.

Can you please try again upload after restarting fusion? and if you still see a problem then the log files will help us.

Go to Help -> Support & Diagnostics ->Diagnostics log files. This will generate a zip file that you can upload.

Also give a try by inserting .stl mesh file from Insert Mesh.

Do not try and Upload it, just open it directly.  Not much to this STL, opens in a couple of seconds.  Fusion 360 model of it is attached.

Hi @jhackney1972,

STLs do not store unit information, so your units in Fusion might not match the units used to make the STL.

It's recommended to insert .stl files through Insert mesh. we have options to choose the units while importing.
