Triad manipulator unresponsive on Mac Studio M4 Max (clean install, no 3Dconnexion)

Hi,

I am experiencing a critical issue where the Triad manipulator (move/rotate handles) is completely unresponsive in Fusion 360 on my Mac Studio M4 Max (macOS Tahoe 26.5.1).

Diagnostics performed:

  1. Issue persists after a full "Reset Fusion" via Service Utility.

  2. Issue persists in a fresh macOS user account with no third-party software installed.

  3. Issue persists even after completely uninstalling 3Dconnexion drivers (via official uninstaller).

  4. Swapping Graphics Driver between Metal and OpenGL causes Fusion to crash.

  5. Changing Navigation presets (Fusion vs SolidWorks) does not restore Triad functionality.

Since the issue occurs on a clean OS user account and without any external HID drivers, it appears to be a compatibility conflict between the current Fusion 360 build and the M4 architecture/Metal API.

Could you please advise if there are known issues with the M4 Max architecture or specific rendering settings to fix this?

Best regards.

Autodesk Fusion has known compatibility issues with the M-series architecture and the Metal rendering engine, often resulting in viewport freezes or unresponsive triad manipulators. Since you've already tried clean installs, OS user changes, and removing 3Dconnexion drivers
