Threading

Hello, When modeling a thread I pick the surface for the thread it starts and ends only on that surface it does not apply the thread to the chamfer or the thread relief and it does not allow me to extend the thread .Am I doing something wrong?

Can you do the thread as Cosmetic before the Chamfer feature, then edit the thread feature and change to Modeled?

I don't know how to get run-out though.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
