T-spline entity not showing in the Project Browser, but visible in model window and editable

Hi all,

I am facing a strange issue in one of my designs where I have created 2 t-spline entities using the Plane shape and have modified it to create the body and cabin design. However, when I look for these 2 entities in the browser they are not to be found (I tried selecting and clicking "Find in browser", that didn't work either), and when I exit the Create Form environment these 2 entities don't show up as a surface or a body, even though I can still see them in the model window.

In the screenshot below you will see that I have selected Body 5 (a different entity from the 2 ones I am referring to above), and this one works just fine, creating a surface upon exiting Create Form, but as you can see, the other 2 bodies visible in the model window (the car body and cabin) are not.

FYI: These 2 t-splines that I am having an issue with were actually originally created about a year ago - before the update - while the other one that has no issues (the car's front splitter) was created in the current version. So I am pretty sure this issue is a result of migrating the model to the latest version, though I still don't know how to solve it.

I would like to be able to convert this into a surface to overbuild and add the details, but am not able to do so because of this error.

Any solution would be much appreciated! And let me know if anyone else has faced this error before.

Hi,

The screenshot shows normal behaviour.

You are in the editing mode "Form".

finish form mode.png

After you have finished "Form", you will see your bodies/surfaces in your browser

Hi,

Yes, so the issue I was facing was that it did not show up in the browser when I clicked finish form, so I had neither a body nor a surface to work with.

However, it appears that after reinstalling Fusion and restarting my system a couple of times the issue is resolved... I suppose it was just a glitch then.

Nevertheless, thank you for the support!
