Goodmorning,

My start up license ends in four days. But when I try to validate for another year the pop u that comes up when clicking the 4 days icon it gives a 404 not found error. Is there a way to get a new licence online or is there a different way to fix this problem?

Thanks for the help!

Hi @florianADZZ4,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

This seems like the URL is not redirecting correctly for that dialog. In the past I have either seen this caused by network issues, or an old version of Fusion being installed.

Can you go to the help menu in the top-right corner of Fusion and select About and post a screenshot of that dialog. Also, can you please collect your diagnostic log files from the help menu and post them here as well. Unfortunately, besides this dialog there is no other screen to sign up as a start up. I will ensure you don't lose access to Fusion however while we troubleshoot.

Hi @florianADZZ4,

Yep, so it does look like you are on an outdated version of Fusion. Before completing my steps below, ensure that all of your data is successfully synced to the cloud as you may lose your offline cache in this process. If it is:

  • Download and run our Clean Uninstall Tool here
  • Select NO when asked to clear you cache
  • Once done, restart your computer
  • Reinstall Fusion from this link here

Once Fusion is reinstalled, try to sign up as a hobbyist now. Does it work?

Thanks,
