Lost power mid save, now lost file.

Hey all,

So was almost finished a small project in Fusion so decided to save it... Mid save my power went out!

Power came back on later but now when I try to open the file it says

"This file you are trying to open is currently being saved by "my user name" do you want to open a previous version instead"

Now my settings are to auto-save every 5 minutes but the "previous" version is the last time I manually saved which was hours ago so ive lost alot of work...

Is there any way to access the most recent autosave?

Thanks

Hi @viperx85,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

Couple quick things we can try. If you toggle to offline mode (click the clock symbol next to your name), does the newest version appear? My theory is that the file is stuck uploading to the cloud, but it may have locally cached your save when you hit save. This will tell us this or not.

If that does not work, let's try to pull the file from the Upload Queue itself. To do this:

1. Close Fusion 360

2. Browse to:

Mac
Macintosh HD > Users > *** > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Autodesk Fusion 360 > *** > W.Login >Q
Windows
C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\***\W.Login\Q

3. Locate the file in the Q folder

The Q folder contains all files that are about to be uploaded. I would back up this folder and upload each one manually.

Thanks,
