Students cant receive account validation emails

Hi We are a school using Fusion360 on chrome books, but are having problems signing users up to fusion360. Receiving external email is blocked for students, so we have to whitelist trusted addresses, we have autodesk.com and em7210.autodesk.com  on the list, and it used to work, but recently mails have stopped getting through.

What is the domain these mails are being sent from????

Hi, Thanks for your reply,I have followed all these instructions and still had problems, but after getting the admins to watch for emails coming in we seem to have it all working now, below is a quote from the school network administrator...

"It looks like they are failing DMARC signature on their emails and so therefore failing full email authentication which we normally require such that we can ensure that the email is originating from the correct sender.
As this is industry standard practice I would suggest feeding back to AutoDesk to ask them to fix their security issues."
I don't know if this is a problem for other users, or just our email system, if you could pass it on for investigation I would appreciate it.

Hi @tjpDBZVZ,

 

Thanks for sharing this info. I've learned that we did have a temporary issue this week that caused our IP address for email sending to be listed as a spam address, which is unusual. Our team resolved the issue and is investigating the cause, but I wonder if the feedback you received around the failing DMARC signature is possibly related.

 

Do you know if your network admin is still seeing that happen?
