stl tri-mesh to ReCap Photo quad-mesh

Hello, I am have a HUGE issue with the conversion of .stl file in AutoDesk ReCap Photo to the Quard mesh files. I am doing it and when it the file is done it shows up as an STEP file for ReCap Photo but when I open it in Fusion 360 it still ppops open as a Tri-mesh and not a quad mesh????

What am i doing wrong. i have literally watched the AutoDesk presentation on how to do this and not matter how many i do it still doesn't show up as a quad mesh. Did something change???

no, no change.  This option has always been here:

uncheck that, and quads will come in as quads.
