STEP export extremely slow

For the past 2 days STEP exports are taking minutes, and sometimes bring up the message 'Fusion is not responding', although the export does work eventually if left alone.

 

It always used to be instant.

I've had the exact same issue with Save as Mesh exporting as .3mf, also started two days ago. For me, switching to Offline Mode made the exports instant again. Obviously not a long term solution, but at least it doesn't take 4 minutes every time

+ 1 I tried exporting 5 fairly large assemblies and it took ~1.5 hours to get them done once i realised the program hadn't actually crashed and I just had to wait it out. I was unable to do anything else in F360 while they were exporting. I tried on 3 different computers (my work machine, a newer machine and a new MacBook) and the results were the same.

Not good guys... These bugs and recent performance issues are literally costing me time, impacting company reputation (failing to meet tight deadlines) and most importantly income.

I'm experiencing the same thing, suddenly export which took seconds now takes minutes? Since the last update. For .step files.

For those experiencing this issue: 

1. Can you please run an export
2. Then go to Help - support and diagnostics - service utility - Gather system info
3. Please attach the Fusiondiagnostics.zip file

Update: the issue went away for me sometime after 2:00 p.m. EST on June 4th. I do still get a small stutter, but no more than a few seconds. If the issue comes back I will send diagnostics, but I can't replicate it anymore at the moment, which is strange because it was so consistent before.

I have the same exact issue. Two weeks ago the step files were exporting but corrupted, this week even a simple part takes half an hour or longer to export. tested on 3 different computers.

Can you try to set fusion to offline mode to see if that fixes your problem?

I'm from europe too...this month i had a lot of issues with exporting step files and have no idea why...after latest 2 or 3 updates things just randomly break.

I have the same, i have this plugin called mapboards, it's also affected by this issue, tested on 3 different systems (all mac) with 3 different ISP's. Exporting a 3mf is also mallfunctioning with wifi connected. I made a wireshark trace, i notice a lot of activity to some amazon hosted servers in the US while performing something in fusion. Like every little step is meticulous being monitored. In a few seconds of Fusion activity the log increases to 1.2MB of data.

Interesting, im on windows and its the same...also tried resetting fusion and nothing changed

So there was an update on the health dashboard, that some features including exporting might not be working normally...that has been now resolved....i tried exporting online and it works

It still seems slower with than without internet connected thought, my plugin still has issues, but i am now able to export 3MF files again with more speed.

+1, Same crap. Also when selecting features from drop-down menu (like fillet from 'Modify' for example), Fusion lags for a few seconds. And new Part/Assembly/Hybrid design types sucks. And new home screen. And the fact that you've hidden the history and previous versions...

 

It's getting worse and worse with every update.
