Startup/Hobbyist Cloud Credits

Anonymous

I was trying to render in the cloud  and I got the message I don't have enough Cloud Credits, clicking on the box says I have 0 cloud credits. Will I get more cloud credits with my subscription in the future or my plan, startup/hobbyist, is over with cloud credits unless I buy them?

I was under the impression this account type had unlimited cloud credits, but with a limit of 16 per job.

Hi @Anonymous,

Hmm, not too sure why this is happening. We're looking into this right now. Do you mind going to the help menu and collecting your diagnostic log files and posting. Can you also post a screenshot of the render dialog showing the credits.

Thanks,

Thank you!

Something's wrong with my account, if I go to manage.autodesk.com, I see I have no 'Rendering' Product and I see my cloud points as being 0 too.

The following screenshots were taken in a different computer than before and the issue is still the same with the same account, so it's not related to a specific installation.

@James.Youmatz, any update on this issue?

I would like to be able to use my account normally again. I find it very strange that, apparently, I’m the only one with this crippling issue.

In the meantime I was able to see the manage.autodesk.com page of another free/startup/hobbyist account that is working normally and they have the ‘Rendering’ item in ‘All Produtcs and Services’, and no ‘Individual Cloud Credits’ usage item in ‘Cloud Service Usage’. So that’s where the problem is.

I'm upset that the issue is still present, that I lost the ability to render in the cloud and that there is no ETA for it to be resolved.

Hi @Anonymous,

Just got off a call trying to identify this issue and had a few questions for you. It seems that you are on a trial of rendering, which should not be the case since you have a valid start up entitlement for Fusion. To be safe however, did you at point sign up for a trial of rendering through the rendering website, or have you only ever accessed rendering via Fusion 360. This will be helpful to know.

For transparency, what is going on is that it seems you are on a trial of rendering that was given 125 CC. Those have been used up and it should have now pushed to the startup pool - but it seems to be have disassociated. We are currently investigating this with high priority and are hoping to have an answer as soon as possible.

As soon as I have an update, I will let you know.

Thanks,

Thank you for looking into this,

I've only accessed rendering via Fusion 360, inside the Fusion app, I've never signed up for a trial of rendering, I've only signed up for Fusion 360 startup.

@James.Youmatz, I'm sure that if you haven't said anything yet it's because you don't have any news on my issue, but it has been almost a week since I lost the ability to render in the cloud and the problem hasn't been fixed.

Please, Autodesk, fix this.

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry about not getting back to you yesterday. I'm working on seeing if there is a way to get you able to render while we deal with this issue. So far, we have been unable to fix what is causing this issue in the backend - but we have identified the issue. We are currently working on fixing it.

Let me see what I can do in terms of getting you able to render.

Thanks,

Hi, I have just discovered that I also have this same issue.  I have a startup license and all has been fine until today.  It is saying on my account usage that I only have 5 credits remaining.  Could you please look into this and adjust.  Thank you in advance.

Hi @Anonymous,

I believe I was able to fix the error already for you. Can you restart Fusion and give it a try and let me know.
