Sketch - Offset Feature Change in Recent Updates

Just a minor issue, but previously when offsetting a sketch the direction of the offset was able to be controlled by using a positive or negative number. Now the entry requires a positive number and that the "flip" option is toggled in the Offset Palette. Was this changed to support another feature?

I think this was part of the June update. @keqingsong would probably know more specifically if this was the case.
