Simple copy and paste body

Hello,

I have a rather complex 3D print design I cannot share.

For a quick test of a specific dimension, I want to change the dimension, copy and paste the body into another component of the document, change the dimension, copy and paste.... etc. until I have all bodies where one dimension has different values. But Fusion 360 keeps changing ALL bodies.

There is no "paste new" option, I do not want a workaround with a new document which is a huge hassle and I am required to do these tests very often and it cost a tremendous amount of time. We pay for Fusion 360 and it should have an extremely simple copy-and-paste function like this and at this moment I am extremely frustrated that it doesn't. How can I do it?

Greetings

A Rule No.1 Component, will do as you wish.

Copy Paste New, Change the dimension.

Configurations are promised in the future.

Might help....

If you create Components then you will find the Copy/Paste New option.  Components should be created early so all features, construction geometry, sketches fall under the associated component.

Therefore I can not do a simple copy and paste for bodies...

I did it by creating an extra component within a component, which is really not intuitive.

Thanks for the help, to both of you!

Greetings
Stefan
