Here is a feature that I used to use quite often in Inventor.

Sketch on a face (coming from a surface) to create a flange or face.

This would add the face and join to adjacent body along with adding the bend radius to it.

There's no comparison between the features in Inventor and Fusion. Inventor has way more! However, the Fusion sheet metal implementation is very flexible and compatible with some of the existing modeling tools in Fusion. It's not possible to create a bend across a gap, but there are several solutions you could use to achieve the same geometry.

Here's a screencast highlighting a few of those methods.

If there's a particular feature that you like in Inventor that you would also like to see in Fusion 360, the Fusion 360 Ideastation is the best place to request a new feature. The link to submit ideas is below.

Let me know if you do submit a request and I'll add a vote. 😉

I hope this helps!

Thanks Nathan

As I mentioned in my post. It's not easy to create.

I agree with your current method, as this is my only way I could do it by adding a flange at an exact angle, and then modify my flange with Fusion features.

I will add my post to the ideas station, and hope others feel the same.

BTW.............still love Fusion over Inventor ease of use, and full compliment of tools. I can't wait to see where Fusion goes in the future.

I'm an advocate. I'm a believer. I'm a user!
