Sheet Metal Icosahedron

I'm trying to use the Sheet Metal tools to create a pattern that would fold into a simple regular icosahedron with the ultimate goal of extending this to a regular dodecahedron that will be created as a rigid/flex PCB. I've created a simple regular icosahedron solid, but am stuck at this point. I can select a face from the Sheet Metal Flange tool but it only makes one triangular side. How do I now extend this to make the three triangles for the other faces and fold them to match those sides? Alternatively, is it possible to first create a 2D pattern and then fold it?

That is the goal and I know how I could do this without using the Sheet Metal tools, but I would like to be able to fold and unfold it. Did you use the Sheet Metal tool to create this? Thanks!

Yes, I used sheet metal, but I cheated a bit and there is an error.

Must have bends and the "rips" and remove hemispherical deformations.
