Shaded drawing not working

Anonymous

I have a problem after software update.

Now I can't make my drawings shaded. When I turn mode it remains lines only. And worth, there is no preview when I try to place base view or projected view (probably, because it should be the same shaded preview). It shows just empty rectangle.

And drawing pages has no thumb previews now. They are all white.

I've tried to clean reinstall NVIDIA drivers and clean reinstall Fusion 360. Nothing works. My old drawings remains shaded, where the mode was turned on. And when I try to change mode to shaded from laptop (MS Surface), it works. On the same Fusion 360 version.  And thumb previews are generating.

Please, help.

P.S. It seems there is some problem with appearance rendering. Even when I change appearance or model details and refresh drawings it turns to not shaded.

What is the appearance you are using? I'm able to see objects with shaded views in a variety of appearances.

It is not working with all appearances. Even with default one.

Probably, this is the case. For some reason Fusion 360 can't recognize NVIDIA drivers under Windows 10 after last update of Windows 10 (2 september 2018) or Fusion 360. Switching to DirectX 9 doesn't solve the problem.

Its certainly possible. I'd uninstall and reinstall the Nvidia drivers. If that does not work there may be another program interfering. Such as Duet Display.

I've already tried this. Clean uninstall. Several versions of drivers (old ones too). Nothing works. But all other software (games, 3d editors, like Cinema 4D, Adobe products) has no issues.

Do the appearances work outside of a drawing? Like in the base model?

Surely, I find the solution. It is 100% Fusion 360 bug.

If you have system variable "TMP" for current user (top list of system variables, not bottom one) set with slash ("f:/Temp/") shaded mode is not working. If you change it to the same folder, but without slash ("f:/Temp"), it works. I've tried this several times back and forth and it is the case.

Other program parts of Fusion 360, I suggest, read this system variable by correct way, but the Drawing mode code has some error.

Yes, it works in modelling and in render workspace. Only drawing workspace has the bug I've talk about in my earlier comment.
