After selecting an opacity for an component or a body (eg 50%) via rightclicking on item the requested opacity is applied and remains so.

HOWEVER if you revisit the same dropdown menu NO OPACITY selection persists. It looks as though no selection has been made. This is annoying, particularly if wishing to change current selection by 10% up or down: you have to remember what it is.

Good point. Hadn't seen that. It's certainly a fix.

However, if previously selected one of the presets (like "50%") would expect to see a TICK against it when accessing the right-click menu. (And if had previously made a "custom" setting would expect to see the "custom" entry ticked or highlighted.)

To have to go into "Custom" seems odd, not to mention being an additional click. When probably then going to choose a preset anyway.

Hmm not sure if it's an "idea" so much as a humble suggestion that the current method doesn't quite fit the norms of UI design. Let's see if anyone looks at this on Monday morning US time. 😉
