Seam line with loft messes up mesh.

Hey, I am aware this has been asked, but I have yet to find an answer for my purpose. Anyways whenever I make a loft, spline or revolve, then Fusion 360 leaves a seam mark behind (this is probably normal behavior), I am wondering if there is any way to get rid of it? NOT just visually but delete it completely to have nice, even geometry? Please see pictures attached below. Thanks for any help in advance! 🙂

Hi,

it´s a display option.

If you don´t like it:

It's not only a display option, look at my attached photo (where the model is imported into Cinema 4D), you can see that the mesh has non uniform geometry, making it harder to unwrap UVs' and making the model less pleasing to look at. Thank you for your suggestion, but that solution is only for visuals, not useful in my case. 🙂

No, that can't be controlled as you are exporting a triangular mesh. This simple geometry, which is easy enough to create in c4d  as a quad mesh, is a NURBS surface that has a seam. As a NURBs surface, that seam is tangent across the surface and usually not visible.

The non-uniformity in the exported triangular mesh occurs at that seam. This shape should be simple enough to re-mesh (not sure c4d has a remesher) or re-topologized.
