Scaling issue when importing SVG files.

Hello,

I was importing an SVG file and noticed that for one, the SVG drawing does not import to scale, and secondly when you adjust the scale slider and then move the drawing the scale in the dialog box resets to 1.000 even thought the drawings scale has been changed.  Making any scale adjustments with repeated precision is very difficult if not impossible.   This issue with the knows issues of importing SVG files really makes this function frustrating.  Maybe the SVG import should be abandoned if it cannot work fluidly.

Thank you for the information Mike.

The first link is pretty self explanatory and I wouldn't have made to my concern without knowing that information.

The second link really outlines my concern in my first post.  Inconsistence or complex work flows for something so simple should probably be reviewed and considered a failure.  Maybe there is a better way to implement this or maybe another file type should be used for such functions.

I will continue using my simple 2D software for such designs for efficiency sake.

Also, I do not receive notifications when someone replies to this thread even though the box for that options is selected.  I'm not sure that is a known issue with the forum or not.

Thanks again.

Chris
