Rigid Groups not working with Insert Derive

Hi, following on from a bug I noticed:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-design-validate-document/rigid-groups-not-selecting-all-parts-...

Insert derive is not respecting the selection of rigid bodies, and motion links. I am unable to get my fixturing to work within a manufacturing model, as you cannot direct insert components into manufacturing models. Any way of getting this to work without redoing constraining steps?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reporting @jay_lu84VXY

I can reproduce this. I logged it as FUS-211324 - it appears to be specifically Rigid Groups that have more than 2 components constrained (the first 2 components respect the group, others don't).

It looks like it can be worked around by running a compute all in the assembly after it's Derived in. Then the components seem to respect all the Joints.

Cheers,

Karina

Great, thanks Karina. Compute all does solve the immediate issue.
