Rib not working

Can't get my rib to work. I've tried closing and reloading, I've tried every direction, every thickness, nothing. I also tried extending the line beyond the projections, instead of just having the end points intersect the projections. Projected lines are the geometry, and the blue line is my rib. They form a profile, so I don't know why it's saying it doesn't intersect the body. I tried all the options in the box, couldn't get any rib at all. What is going on?

You do not show it from the side.  Probably the sketch is not overtop the two bodies you are trying to make the Rib.  If you attach your model, the forum users can help you.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

Thanks for showing the upload, didn't see that till after. But, do you have a problem with an imgur link or something? It shows exactly what you wanted.

No I have no problem with Imgur link but that is a screen capture, as far as I can tell.  What I am asking for, to help you, is the actual Fusion 360 model.

Oh, I'm sorry. Thought you were a stickler for images being uploaded to the Autodesk site. Here you are. Sorry for the confusion.

You are trying to create a Rib between two bodies in DIFFERENT components which is not allowed.   You will need to use an extrusion.  Make sure you assign it to the component of your choice, I did it to the tray component which seemed logical.  Model is attached.

Edit:  In fact you cannot use the Rib command to try and place a rib between two different bodies in the same component.

Thanks for the work around. So are component a to component b in other features not allowed, or is it just ribs? Clearly extrudes are.

Web is another one but I do not have a list on the tip of my fingers.  Most any command that has to get its data from the body it is attaching to will not work.  Any command that uses a profile to develop is not affected.
