Hey Fusion folks. Im curious if any of you using newish MacBook M4 Pros are experiencing a bug that is making me crazy.

In drawing space only, my scroll wheel zoom will not zoom in or out centered on the cursor. Instead it zooms in or out flying off by a few inches. It makes adding leaders or dimensions completely maddening. I have to zoom in, pan, zoom in more, pan, zoom in again, pan.

In design and manufacturing space, it works as it should.

Autodesk told me this is a bug, and that it MAY get fixed eventually, but there are no immediate plans to address it. They seem to think that it is very rare, but we have 2 MacBooks at our office that were purchased at the same time (about a year ago now I think) and they both exhibit the same behavior.

So I’m really curious if there are some of you with newish machines that don’t have this problem. I’m considering rolling the dice and trading in my MacBook for the exact same machine in hopes that there’s some weird hardware build that’s causing the problem instead of the software. If some of y’all chime in with “I bought an M4 Pro 4 months ago and it works great”, I’ll do it. I’m even considering getting the M4 Max, which is probably totally unreasonable. But I make my living with Fusion, and support several employees at my business with it as well, so I need it to work correctly. Not being able to create drawings easily to communicate with our clients is so frustrating.

Modeling and CAM? I absolutely love Fusion, but when it comes to making drawings, I’m losing my mind.

Thanks all. I’m looking forward to hearing your responses. I appreciate the time.
