I'm trying to render an image of a part with Tungsten Carbide as the selected material, which is not available in the provided materials catalog. Is there anywhere I can obtain (safe) downloadable appearances for materials, specifically carbide? Or alternatively is there a more advanced software package I can purchase that would offer more materials?

Thanks for asking.

The material library in Fusion is customizable. For materials that are not in the library you can make your own to suit your specific needs.

When I do this, I start with the closest material I can find, then duplicate it, edit it, and eventually save it to My Appearances.

I looked up Tungsten Carbide and saw there are several versions of it. One that looks most like aluminum, and others that had a darker color.

In this image I'm comparing satin aluminum (Fusion) with an image of tungsten carbide drills.

This could be a starting point for your custom material. Let me know if I can help.
