"Fit" view not working

I've assembled multiple components. I want to see the entire assembly so I click the "fit" button down at the bottom. It zooms to some random point and cuts off a lot of the assembly? I've got no Capture Position steps. This also affects my drawing. I want to show the Top view and most of it is cutoff. Thoughts?

I've traced back through my timeline. Upon inserting a part, the view just doesn't take in to account the new components. It seems to just ignore it?? Not one specific part either.

Then when I try to show that view in a drawing (colored), I get a distinct line where part of it is wireframe and another part is actually colored in.

Ugh.

Hi,

1. please show this behaviour in a screencast.

2. Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d locally  > attach it to the next post.

Screencast attached...

I don't have the option Save f3d locally in the export dialog. Additionally, I think some of these parts are proprietary, so I may not want to share the file??

EDIT: Not sure if the screencast is showing up. It was when I hit reply. No idea what it's doing...

Just to update...

Support supposedly opened a ticket. Haven't heard anything in about 2 weeks. They offered some workarounds in the meantime unlinking a bunch of my parts from the assembly. Not super feasible. Who knows.
