"Fit curves to mesh section" Tool Not available?

I've recently been attempting to undertake some reverse engineering projects and wanted to use the Fit curves to mesh section tool. Though it doesn't seem to be available or even listed anywhere? It was my understanding that this was available in the basic version of fusion though I may be mistaken? There is no listing for in New Sketch>Create  not even a greyed out option. Any Ideas? or maybe I'm missing something simple?

I think that this command only appears in the toolbar if you are editing a sketch that contains one or more mesh sections.
