Properties of multiple selected components not correct

When selecting multiple components in the browser and showing Properties, the displayed mass, center of mass etc is only wrt the first selected component.

Thanks for posting this! This is a known issue with doing multiple selection of components. The workaround is dependent on the component structure. For instance, if the two components all fell under one component, the top-level component would show the correct center of mass.

 

If the center of mass is what you are looking for, if you use the Inspect menu, you can actually choose Center of Mass and select the components. Then, a glyph will appear where the CoM is. You can use the Measure tool to measure where the CoM is with respect to the global origin or to other points.
