Hi folks, I'm trying to cut away a portion of this pipe and achived it partly with the emboss feature. But i want to cut away all of it so its open (red lines) and end where the holes are (blue line) ...how can i do this more cleanly? I tried to project the sketch I used for the emboss to the surface with only error warnings.

Help would be appreciated!

@richard.hallT2EK9 The embossed shape is quite irregular in places:

I am not sire I fully understand what you are trying to communicate with the colored lines. Is this the result you are looking for?

Hi @TrippyLighting, if you simply go to edit the emboss feature in the timeline and OK the preview, has the smoothness sorted itself out? I did make changes to these algorithms a few months ago, and I would have thought they'd have made it into the version you have.
