Plane at angle - edit feature is visually off

The "adjustment circle" (I don't know the proper name) for a "plane at angle" feature ends up projected onto the plane itself instead of being perpendicular to the line that the plane was created from. The angle can still be adjusted, but it looks just trippy, and it is clearly not correct.

 

It is correct when the plane is first created, but when editing the feature (to adjust the angle) it is in the wrong plane. In this example, I created a line on the front plane, connected to the origin and along the X-axis, and then I created a plane at angle to this line. Here's how it looks:

 Surely this is not the intended behaviour?

I concur as well. When editing the plane's angle the adjustment feature shows itself in the same plane as the angled plane, not normal to the adjustment axis as it should be.
