Hi all,

how do I get permissions associated with  C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local?

I have winError 3 and can´t download fusion 360 because of missing path - localappdata.

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you try the steps documented here to fix the problem? 

Also, try running as administrator when installing Fusion (right-click the installer, select Run as Admin). The AppData location requires Admin level permissions to write to.

Hi James,

first, I right click the installer. For a very short time I saw a black box and didn´t know if or what to write. So I didn´t do anything exept waiting. Than after a short time I get the Error 3 hint again.

Second,  I tried to deinstallate fusion 360.  But I never tried it before, so I don´t have the possibility do deinstall it. 

So what else can I do?
